Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our team in Rushden, supporting our Abercrombie & Fitch contract. As a HR advisor you will provide effective and comprehensive support to line managers within GXO Rushden in all aspects of Human Resources. To meet the immediate and long-term needs of the site and to develop and deliver the HR Strategy in line with the agreed People Plan for the site.
This position is being offered on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Provide quality advice and consultancy support to line managers on employee relations, including managing discipline and grievance cases, performance management, supporting with investigations, meetings and appeals.
* Review, streamline and where practical develop HR processes/procedures/guidelines to maximise efficiency.
* Manage the full range of HR activities within the employee lifecycle (new starter process, current employment to termination of employment).
* Ensure that company standards and policies & procedures are effective and are implemented on a consistent basis across the site.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory role, ideally CIPD qualified.
* Good working knowledge of Employment Law; excellent knowledge of HR Policy, Practice, Employee Relations and Change Management approaches.
* Must have experience of multi-site operations and a good commercial focus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and able to adapt communication style to different audiences.
