In these Monday to Friday, Mobile Catering Supervisor posts, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
2. Ensuring compliance with HACCP Procedures and completing all paperwork and electronic returns accordingly.
3. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
4. Transporting and serving meals, and performing general kitchen and dining room duties (e.g., washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and its surroundings.
We have a permanent vacancy to join our team working in Primary or High schools in Lochgelly and surrounding areas with Lochgelly High School as a base:
Post: 30 hours per week on a 38-or 52-week contract, from 8.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,890.91 to £27,087.17 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
* £13.26 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
* Pay is annualised for 38-week contract (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).

The Person:
1. Catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
2. Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
3. Ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work at short notice.
4. You will be required to attend a full day of induction training before starting in post.
