Receptionist – Richard House - Grantham

At Tanglewood, the receptionist is the face of the home, and you will be the voice people hear upon calling for general enquiries for their family, to arrange visits to their family, or to inquire about working with us! You are integral to the home.
This position is 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

We are enthusiastic about promoting you as an individual; if you have specific career aspirations within care, we will advocate any training you need including NVQ Level 2, 3, 4, 5, CHAPS training, nursing, and so on to work your way up. You may begin as a receptionist, but your aspirations do not have to stop there.
The responsibilities of a receptionist at home include:
1. Welcome all visitors to the care home courteously, determine the reason for their visit, and check their identity.
2. Telephone appropriate departments regarding the visitor’s arrival.
3. General filing and preparation of archiving to forward to the central archive store.
4. Provide administrative support to the Administrator as and when required.
5. Assist with the processing of clients' payments using the card payment terminal.
6. Maintain staff register and sickness files ensuring the relevant documents/spreadsheets are kept up to date.
7. Take payments from visitors/residents and receipt as necessary.
