Portfolio Payroll are working with a well-established a private construction business who is looking for a hands-on Finance and Payroll Assistant to join their dynamic team. \n\nAs a Finance and Payroll Assistant, reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible to:\n\n* Assist in maintaining accurate financial records including sales and purchase ledger. \n * Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.\n * Process invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately and promptly.\n * Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any credit control issues.\nProcess payments, including new starters, leavers, and absences\n * Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger postings.\n * Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
