A highly regarded primary school in East Sussex, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their permanent staff team starting from September.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality early years education to children in the nursery setting.
* Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment.
* Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
* Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s development.
* Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure a cohesive approach to children’s learning and development.
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Requirements:
* A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
* A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for early years education.
* A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
