Andover Garden Machinery is a family owned local business that sells and services all types of garden Machinery. We offer a friendly working environment on the outskirts of Andover.
We are currently looking for a full time Sales Assistant/Parts Assistant for our very busy and fast paced shop
Role includes:
• Deal with front desk enquiries
• Taking payments for parts and machines
• Booking machines in for the workshop
• Telephone enquiries
• Ordering of parts and Machines
• Finding necessary parts for customer machines
• Sales of new Machinery and advising on products
• Sales of Pool chemicals and advising on products
• Daily till reconciliation
• Stock Control
• Booking in stock from daily deliveries
• Keeping all areas clean and tidy and abiding to Health and Safety
• Assembling New machines
• Liaising with Workshop and Office
Necessary Skills:
• Good communication skills with customer and suppliers
• Problem Solving
• Good Planning and organisational skills
• Good computer skills and internet research skills
• Experience working in retail environment
• Able to work under pressure
• Attention to details and number accuracy
The role will include Saturday work with a day off in lieu during the week.
