Job Description
We seek to recruit the very best people across our Trust Partnership and are excited to invite applications for the role of Curriculum Leader: Computer Science.
The successful candidate will be ready to make a tangible difference in empowering our students to break boundaries and succeed in an ever-evolving digital world.
The Role
We are seeking a visionary, dynamic, and inspiring leader to develop and lead our Computer Science curriculum from year 7 to year 13. You will be a champion for diversity and inclusion, working not only to deliver high-quality teaching and learning but also to motivate and empower our students to pursue Computer Science with confidence and expertise.
Computer Science at SGHS
Computing sits within the CREATE faculty at SGHS. The CREATE Faculty is an acronym for Computing, Robotics, Engineering, Art, Technology and Enterprise. We currently have ten teaching staff, with Curriculum Leaders for Art, Business Studies, Technology and Computing.
All subjects within CREATE maintain their individual identities within the faculty, with staff and students benefiting from cross-curricular conversations, the sharing of good practice and a team-based mutual support system.
