At Saint-Gobain Industrial Ceramics, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to work in our Ceramics and Refractories team. You will help us grow markets we’re already established in by identifying and proactively engaging with new and existing customers across the UK.
Performance Ceramics & Refractories, part of Saint-Gobain, leads in design, development, and production of engineered ceramics and refractory products.
The role will be remote-based, with the expectation of regular travel to customer sites across the UK.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in new business sales/account management in key/large accounts with technical products/processes
* A strong communicator, able to articulate and influence technical concepts to senior directorship level
* Strong commercial awareness, understanding business needs with an ability to complete strategies to accomplish them
* UK driving license is essential as there will be travel across the UK
What you will be doing:
* Developing new business sales from new and existing customers across our UK market base
* Increasing customer knowledge and awareness of our products/solutions through visits to key decision makers
* Obtaining insight and feedback from customers about new and future solutions/opportunities for our products and services, including national & global projects
* Generating client orders and ensuring these are correctly and accurately processed
