An opportunity has arisen for a Design Office Administrator to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. About the role To oversee the efficient operation of the design office, ensuring coordination between various teams and facilitating the execution of design projects. To play a key role in the planning, organisation and management of resources with a focus on optimising workflow, fostering a collaborative environment and meeting project deliverables, as agreed with the Chief Designer & Head of Car Development. What you will do Planning Collaborate with senior management to establish goals, objectives and key performance indicators for the Design Office Support the Chief Designer in the day-to-day management of design personal. Project Coordination Support the Chief Designer in planning design activities, including resource allocation, task assignment and timeline development Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between design teams and the wider project resources Monitor project progress, identify potential issues to help keep projects on track Workflow Optimisation Streamline design processes to enhance efficiency and productivity Identify and implement tools or technologies that improve the design workflow Reporting and Documentation Generate regular reports on project status, resource utilisation and key performance indicators Maintain up-to-date documentation related to project plans, design process, and team activities Maintain technical, homologation and customer documentation Reliability and Fault analysis Support the Reliability Engineer to analyse faults with an aim to identify any patterns such that trends can be addressed and procedures improved About you Ideally graduated with a 2:2 or above in a relevant design or engineering based degree. Or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Previous experience of project management and planning beneficial Previous experience working in a motorsport environment beneficial Flexible attitude to working hours To follow and actively enforce the company’s health and Safety and HV policies What is in it for you?
