We are seeking to recruit a highly experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the leadership teambased in the Community Resource Team in Bridgend. The post holder will contribute to the strategic direction of occupational therapy within the Local Authority, this includes the integrated community services, Housing, specialist Dementia services, HMP Parc and Children Services. The postholder will evaluate service priorities and ensure therapeutic practice is innovative and evidence based to achieve those priorities. The Integrated Specialist Assessment Manager will have specific responsibility for the Specialist Assessment Team, which includes the Sensory and Community Occupational Therapy teams. Ensuring these teams deliver proportionate, early, and rehabilitative interventions to facilitate the best outcomes for individuals. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. An Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post. The council’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post.
