As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will manage referrals into the service, completing triage assessment and providing appropriate harm reduction advice. You will also develop plans with clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.

There will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.

Job Opportunity
You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.

Please note, working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. However, there may be some Saturday working on an occasional basis.
Please note, this is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026.
Essential Skills
To be successful in this role, you will:
* have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
* have some experience of working in a health, social care or related setting
* have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
* be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
* be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise you work
* have good oral and written communication skills
* be comfortable using IT and digital media
* be organised and able to manage your time effectively
* able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
* be happy to support other With You locations when needed
You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check
