Job description
We are currently seeking a confident Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Aylesbury. This is a full-time position from 08:30 am to 4:00 pm, available for an ASAP start.
Previous experience in supporting pupils with additional or special needs is highly valued, so if you have prior background supporting pupils with special needs, then apply now!
The role:
* Support primary-aged students with their learning as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
* Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
* Carry out other duties as may be reasonably requested by the class teacher
* Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritized
* Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class
What we're looking for:
* Available for an immediate start & full-time availability, Monday to Friday
* Recent experience working with children is a must
* A genuine passion for supporting and guiding primary-aged children
* Proximity to Aylesbury or within a commutable distance
