Job Title: Source-to-Pay Process Manager (2-year FTC)
Location: Frimley Surrey, Preston, Portsmouth, or Glasgow with flexibility required for national travel. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £61,300 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Develop and implement the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process strategy across UK and international businesses, ensuring standardisation
* Define and monitor S2P performance metrics, aligning with the global assurance framework to drive improvements
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement process changes to enhance control and compliance
* Collaborate with the Governance Centre of Excellence to ensure effective oversight and best practices
* Lead the rollout of future S2P process designs, working closely with the S2P PMO and key stakeholders
* Act as the main point of contact for S2P process owners in HR, Finance, and Commercial, providing Supply Chain expertise
* Support the integration of enabling technologies, driving process efficiency and digital transformation
* Partner with the Data and Digital Centre of Excellence and IMT to align technology requirements with S2P strategy
Your skills and experiences:
* Expertise in Process Mapping to analyse and optimise workflows
* Knowledge of Quality Management to maintain high standards and compliance
* Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
* Proficient in Lean Six Sigma techniques to improve process performance
* Ability to analyse data and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues
* Familiarity with Supply Chain Management processes (desirable)
The Team:
As part of the Source to Pay (S2P) programme at BAE Systems, this role is integral to the development phase of the programme, with a focus on driving process improvement and standardisation across the business. The team is responsible for applying a range of quality techniques, including Process Mapping and Value Stream Mapping, to optimise workflows and deliver efficient processes.
You’ll be working closely with colleagues to implement process tools and apply LEAN principles, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and stress testing. The team is committed to driving process harmonisation and ensuring best practices are adhered to throughout the programme. Project Management experience, particularly in risk management, is desirable, as is an understanding of Supply Chain processes. The role will also involve taking responsibility for the strategy behind process mapping and supporting the 8 Quality Circles methodology to drive high-quality outcomes.
This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the programme's success and contribute to the overall goals of the business.
