Role: Compliance and IT Specialist Salary : Up to £42,500 per annum (pro rata) – 25 hours per week (flexible) Contract type: Part-time. Permanent. What you will be doing Signable is looking for a Compliance & IT Specialist to serve as the central point of contact for all compliance-related questions and concerns. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for ensuring the business adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements. This role will work with all teams across the business, developing and collaborating on key policies, and processes. They will also be responsible for educating the teams, and ensuring an excellent culture of compliance is maintained. The role will suit an IT professional with compliance experience or a Compliance Professional with IT experience Main Responsibilities Compliance Management: Oversee the compliance platform, ensuring the company meets regulatory and internal compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001). Collaborate with department champions and key stakeholders to implement compliance initiatives across the business. Oversee compliance training and support internal audits as needed. Performing risk assessments to understand the level, significance, and scope of risk Investigating irregularities and non-compliance issues Reporting back to the business on compliance performance and highlighting areas of concern Training employees on compliance issues and legal obligations Drafting policies and procedures, and ensuring processes are changed in line with them Keeping records of accidents and incidents Act as a central point of contact for compliance-related questions and concerns, and be responsible for ensuring the business complies with legal and regulatory duties IT Management: Administer and maintain JumpCloud (MDM) to manage devices, user access, and IT policies effectively Act as the point of contact for IT infrastructure queries and ensure smooth IT operations Identify and resolve IT security risks and maintain robust IT policies Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams to ensure compliance processes are understood, adopted, and adhered to across the business Support IT and compliance-related onboarding and offboarding processes Continuous Improvement: Monitor changes in compliance standards and IT best practices, recommending updates to policies and procedures as necessary Drive improvements in compliance and IT efficiency to align with the business’s strategic goals Essential Skills / Our Ideal Candidate: Familiarity with IT management systems, especially JumpCloud or similar MDM solutions Proven experience in a compliance, IT management, or similar role is advantageous Experience managing IT and compliance in a remote working culture Experience with compliance standards, particularly ISO 27001 Useful Skills / And a massive bonus if: You have proven experience working with multiple compliance frameworks You have experience using platforms such as Vanta Please note: The qualifications and experiences above act as a loose guide to what we’re looking for.
