This post is 22.5 hours per week over 3 days.
In the Evesham Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT), we strive to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our local communities.
We have incorporated a huddle into the daily functioning of the team, which enables us to be focused on the recovery of the patient through a multidisciplinary approach, with expertise from doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers, and psychological therapies staff.

Main Duties of the Job
1. Work as a key member and resource of the MDT core team.
2. Gain experience of working across South Community Mental Health Service, developing relationships with Primary Care, partner agencies, and wider mental health services.
3. Design and deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused mental health interventions and groups.
4. Knowledge of delivering psychoeducation within a group environment and 1:1 would be an advantage.
5. Experience of working with this user group in community settings.
6. Hold a registered qualification in mental health nursing, occupational therapy, or social work.
7. Manage a blended caseload of common mental health disorders and severe mental illness patients.
8. Work flexibly as the need of the service demands.
9. Attend weekly MDT meetings, participate in professionals meetings, and signpost to adjunct services depending on patient need.
10. Provide support and guidance to the carers of patients accessing the services.

Person Specification
Experience
* Assessment of people presenting with mental health problems.
* Assessment and management of clinical risk.
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Managing own caseload.

* Able to meet the travel requirements of the post.

Qualifications
* Relevant professional qualification relating to Health or Social Care e.g., in social work, nursing, OT with current professional registration.
* RMN, BSc/DipSW, BSc OT.
* Recent evidence of continuing professional development.
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at the point of offer.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of principles of assessment of people with mental health problems.
