Full Time, Fixed Term - 12 months
We have an exciting one-year opportunity for a Digital Services Manager to lead our User-Centred Design, Development and Product teams.
We believe in the power of digital to improve the lives of our Citizens and to make the Council more effective and efficient. This role will be key to helping us build our capability and meet our ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Guide and inspire teams focused on user-centred digital services.
* Expert Advice: Provide strategic insights on service improvement, automation and transformation.
* Ways of working: Develop and iterate our ways of working. Support teams to collaborate effectively and build on our experience of agile delivery to maximise the flow of value.
* Website & Intranet Management: Manage the council's website and intranet, championing user-centred content design.
You should be:
* Experienced and motivated digital leader with a proven track record in developing and managing user-centred digital services.
* Excellent people and team management skills.

For employees who are currently on a fixed-term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed-term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
