This role will help us to do this by supporting the delivery of an effective electrical management service across Irwell Valley Homes assets and the electircal function via the in-house repairs resource and external contractors. You will provide technical support, effcient operational support of electricians and ensuring that customer and colleague queries are resolved in a timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for · To co-ordinate and manage a comprehensive electrical repair, safety and empty homes service based on a customer focused, value for money service · Supervision of electricians & subcontractors · Provide on-site and remote support to electricians and be the critical link between operative and manager · To support the Homes Team Manager (Gas & Electrical) in ensuring and effective, efficient and safe service is provided to customers · To manage the service to ensure that specified levels of service are maintained We need people who have: · Sound building and construction knowledge · General building maintenance repair knowledge · Completed electronic EICR’s & other associated certificates · Experience of testing and inspection of domestic dwellings · NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation works with City and Guilds 2377-22&32 (Pat Testing) · Current BS:7671 qualification · City and Guilds 2391 or 2394 and 2395 · City and Guilds Parts I & II (or equivalent) · Primary trade qualification – NVQ / C&G Level II minimum This role will require a basic DBS Check Everyone’s welcome here.
