Job summary Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our friendly children's team. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about caring for babies, children and young people aged 0-16 years. Successful candidates will be joining our multi disciplinary team on the paediatric inpatient wards. The ward consists of 29 inpatient beds (with 3 surge beds) on our ward at Calderdale Royal Hospital, two of which are designated for enhanced care, a busy assessment/observation unit and 8inpatient beds on our ward in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary which cares for acute surgical and orthopaedic patients. The ward is also equipped with a new sensory room and young person's room to enhance our patient's stay. We also have a Youth Forum and an active social media and fundraising team. Main duties of the job To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based individualised plan of care. The post holder will also assist in the management and organisation of nursing work in the ward/department.
