Project Manager - Permanent - Hybrid - Leicester (2 days a week onsite) - £45 - 50k per annum - 2 year FTC
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
Role Purpose:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering complex technology and business change projects across various directorates. This role requires a strong understanding of both technical and business processes, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
* Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, meeting project objectives and timelines.
* Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, and business users.
* Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making necessary adjustments.
* Ensure adherence to project governance and quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects.
* Strong understanding of technology and business change methodologies.
* Experience working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with teams across different departments.
* Knowledge of procurement processes for project management resources
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
