As a Support Worker at Ulcomb House, you will have the opportunity to work with adults from different backgrounds with complex support needs.

Every day is different as you build meaningful relationships with our service users that will enable them to grow confident to try out new things and develop new skills.

For the right individual, supporting people with complex needs is an extremely rewarding role as the skills you bring can make a huge difference to their lives.


Skills and Experience Required to be a Support Worker

The ideal applicant will have:

1. Care Certificate (not essential).
2. Experience of working with young adults.
3. Past experience of assisting people with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviour.
4. Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).

We seek staff with positive attitudes, flexibility and good written and verbal communication.


Support Worker Shifts

The role of Support Worker is full time at 37.5 hours per week with shifts. You will be required to work a mix of early and late shifts, some weekends and some bank holidays. This is not an overnight role. Early and late shift times are as follows:


Ulcomb House

Bridge House is a large, comfortable home and is conveniently located just 10 minutes' walk from Sittingbourne railway station. It also benefits from being within sight of a bus stop.
