Stafforce are currently recruiting for a Welder to join one of our clients in Teesside on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00-17.30
Pay Rate: £14.64 per hour
Job Profile
Fabricating and welding are part of the manufacturing process for the production of component parts, which includes the use of a variety of equipment classified as industrial tools and machinery.
Job Description Summary
To work on the production team of the main factory, fabricating and welding component parts to high specifications.
Minimum Qualifications/Skills Required
1. Previous qualification, knowledge, and training in MIG welding techniques to satisfactory BS EN9060 standards.
2. Previous knowledge/skills in a production line manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to read and work to complex engineering drawings.
4. Familiarity with good health and safety practices (safety standards training).
5. Quality control checks and documenting processes.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years previous experience in machine/welding workshop.
Essential Functions/Duties
1. Experience setting parameters and operating industrial MIG welding equipment.
2. Experience with the use of metalworking tools and equipment (weld sets, wire feed, grinder, welding tools, and consumables).
3. Preparing weld area, familiar with weld requirements and dressing off.
