Woodland Lodge (a 72 bed facility), based in Wallsend is inviting applications from Personal Carers with a passion for person-centered care to bring their skills to permanent positions, that includes being available for night duty shifts and some weekend work in a rotating roster.
The Role
Our Personal Carers play a key role in ensuring our consumers are cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually, responding to their varied needs with empathy and respect.
We are seeking enthusiastic Personal Carers to work at our facility for morning, afternoon and night shifts on a full time, permanent part-time or casual basis. Shifts are on a fortnightly roster which includes weekends.
What you will bring to the role
* A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)
* The ability to provide a wide range of person-centered care duties
* A desire and willingness to work with each resident to empower them to continue to do the things that they love
* Care skills that are driven by compassion
* Experience in Aged Care desirable
* Team player who is highly motivated
* Availability to work various shifts across various days
* Basic computer skills to work with our online documentation system (Lee Care)

* Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)

* Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
