Your new role
You will manage improvement projects related to the finance activities, continuously enhancing financial processes. You will oversee financial projects from planning to delivery, ensuring successful outcomes and benefits realization. Your key responsibilities include:
1. Leading medium to high-scale projects
2. Managing multidisciplinary teams
3. Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and contractors
4. Developing project plans and monitoring performance
5. Managing finances through accurate forecasting
6. Analyzing complex data and providing recommendations
7. Ensuring compliance with company policies
Your hands-on approach and problem-solving skills will be crucial in delivering projects on time and to the required quality and cost standards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will likely have 4+ years of post-qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). You should have proven experience of managing financial projects and a comprehensive understanding of finance departments in large organizations. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential, as well as the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively. You should also have significant experience at senior levels, demonstrating credibility and the ability to develop this further in a new organization. Strong financial management skills and commercial acumen are crucial, along with a high degree of organizational skill.
