Location: Manchester (City Centre) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on the experience) Employment type: Permanent The purpose of the Role: My client is seeking for a talented and motivated Intermediate Electrical Designer to join their dynamic team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating electrical designs and specifications for various building services projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other design professionals. Key Responsibilities: Developing detailed electrical designs and drawings for building services projects. Preparing technical specifications and reports. Conducting site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information. Collaborating with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient designs. Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Utilizing design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-specific tools. Participating in project meetings and providing technical input. Assisting in project management activities, including budgeting and scheduling. Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and practices. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in electrical design within the building services sector. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
