Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative will support their direct sales operations. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for client engagement, sales development, and customer service in the telecommunications and technology sectors. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for managing a portfolio of leads, ensuring opportunities and qualified calls are fully explored in order to progress through the sales journey.
1. Prospecting: Outbound calls and follow-ups through marketing leads until an agreed point of handover.
2. Sales Growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the lead generated lists promoting the full range of services and solutions.
3. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively managing customer interactions, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
4. Customer Service Excellence: Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and support requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
5. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and account details in the CRM system.
6. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager, highlighting key activities and pipeline developments.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other internal teams, including technical support, product, and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
8. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers and answer any technical queries.
9. Policy Compliance: Remain compliant with Company policies and procedures including ISO documentation.
10. Security Risks: Proactively identify and mitigate information security risks associated with assigned duties and responsibilities.
11. Security Training: Participate in regular security awareness training and apply best practices for securing data, systems, and applications.
12. Report Security Issues: Report any suspected security incidents, vulnerabilities, or policy violations to the information security team immediately.
Experience:
* Strong understanding of the telecommunications and IoT industries, including market dynamics, key players, and technological developments is preferable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
