My Client is currently recruiting for a Client Relationship Manager to join them on a permanent basis for their offices in Kendal.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing client-business relationships and providing a consistently high-quality service to clients through efficient and timely completion of compliance and business-related advisory services.
Your specific duties will include:
1. Displaying commercial awareness, identifying opportunities for additional fees or services from clients, and taking advantage of networking opportunities to engage new clients.
2. Effectively completing and delivering accountancy work within agreed timescales and budgets.
3. Delivering high-quality proactive client services and maintaining positive day-to-day client relationships.
4. Ensuring client satisfaction at all times and resolving issues promptly.
5. Collaborating with the Managing Director to establish and operate systems and procedures for best and most efficient practices, aiding business development.
6. Proficiently using computer-based accounts preparation software, relevant client software, and analyzing reports generated.
7. Planning, preparing, and reviewing financial accounts, and presenting well-documented files within deadlines.
8. Preparing management information reports (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly) and advising clients on improving profitability or cash flow, including competitor analysis, pricing reviews, dashboards, and reports like Profitcents.
9. Identifying and discussing barriers to work within budget and opportunities for income generation.
10. Resolving client queries directly before discussing with the Client Portfolio Manager, Managing Director, or Partner prior to client meetings.
11. Managing business development by adding value to a portfolio of 50-100 clients.
Requirements include previous experience in a client-facing role, good IT skills (Word/Excel), and familiarity with SAGE Instant/Line 50 and other practice software.
