The Role:
As an Assistant Revenue Manager, your role will include:
1. Overseeing groups for the hotels, ensuring group rates are maintained and all inquiries are followed up to ensure conversion.
2. Maintaining complete knowledge of and complying with all departmental policies/services/procedures/standards.
3. Maintaining complete knowledge of hotel facilities, services, guest room layouts, bed types, decor, room availability day by day, room rates, packages/promotions/upselling, agents hotels work with, and billing conditions, specific arrangements between hotels and travel agents, Scotsman venues in Edinburgh for cross-selling food and beverage.
4. Maintaining knowledge of how to work Opera PMS, Channel Manager, Booking button, and all third-party/FIT extranets.
5. Maintaining a good relationship with all agents.
6. Data analysis including booking trends and competitor rates.
7. Preparation of financial reports.
