Salary: £61,110
What you’ll be doing:
* Planning, delivery and financial management of the Project Portfolios within the DTS function
* Managing complex individual IT Projects, Programmes and Work streams
* Producing business cases, business needs responses, project communications and operational readiness reviews as required
* Line Management of Project Managers allocated to your Portfolio
* Adherence to professional portfolio and project management standards and ensuring these are implemented and maintained by your team
* Leadership, direction and professional development of Project Managers ensuring skills and knowledge are aligned to the businesses requirements
Your skills and experiences:
* Demonstrable IT Project Management delivery experience
* Understanding of the IT Project Management lifecycle
* Good stakeholder management
* Experience of managing a team
* Budget management experience

The Digital Technology Service team:
As a Portfolio Lead you will be looking after a portfolio of projects (infrastructure projects) ensuring they are completed within the agreed timeframe and budget. As well as managing projects yourself, you will lead a team of Project Managers allocated to your portfolio.
