Job Advert: Site Manager – SMSTS (Permanent)
Location: Midlands-based (with travel across the UK)
Salary: £25.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Site Manager to join the team of our client, on a permanent basis. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering an excellent opportunity to progress within a well-established company in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee site operations and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, with a proactive approach to site safety.
* Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Travel to various project sites across the UK, ensuring smooth operations at each location.
* Liaise with the Coventry and Northampton offices to collect goods and paperwork as required.
* Manage and support the on-site team, ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
* Have the ability to chip in with the trades when and if required.
Requirements:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential or a willingness to attend a refresher course.
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager in the construction industry.
* Strong "can-do" attitude and previous trade experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to travel and work across various UK sites, with the flexibility to stay overnight when necessary (accommodation provided).
* Ideally based in the Midlands due to the proximity of the Coventry and Northampton offices.
Additional Information:
* A company van will be provided for travel purposes once the probation period is passed.
* During which time, expenses will be available to cover fuel costs.
* Accommodation costs will be covered for overnight stays when required.
