Director of Infrastructure and Facilities Hull Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary: £50,762 - £59,459 FTE per annum Annual Leave: 37 days per annum (excluding bank holidays and up to 3 additional discretionary days over the Christmas/New Year period) As our Director of Infrastructure and Facilities, you will enhance the student and staff experience and develop the utilisation and appropriate use of the estates environment and all relevant associated support services with a focussed high standard of service delivery The post holder will work across the group, to support and develop all College business strands, in particular to lead on development projects which enable the delivery of the Group's strategic plans and all new strategies and projects as determined by the Chief Operating Officer. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate high levels of commitment to the Group through corporate working. Responsibilities of our Director of Infrastructure and Facilities: Devise and implement the Group's Physical Infrastructure strategy, ensuring the provision of quality Estates, IT infrastructure and on-site services in support of excellent teaching and learning and providing a focus on environmental sustainability and sustainable development. Lead on master planning, capital investment, and estate development projects. Ensure that the delivery of the Physical Infrastructure Strategy complements wider organisational goals, modelling good governance, communication and evaluation; providing expert advice and guidance in support of the strategy's execution. Lead the successful development and management of the Estates, IT infrastructure, Estate utilisation and on-site services support provision, to underpin and enable the delivery of the Group's Mission and Strategic Plan. Lead the effective and efficient financial management across all divisional budget lines, in particular the annual budget and capital investments, to ensure that all operations and development activities are provided at optimum cost effectiveness aligned with approved corporate objectives. Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, cleaning, security and catering. Manage contracts and relationships with external providers and consultants. Develop robust KPls for all relevant services and to ensure these are managed, monitored and delivered, as far as possible to exceed 'client' expectation. Develop and deliver a sustainability strategy, including carbon reduction and energy efficiency. Lead and manage the Infrastructure and Facilities team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities. What we’re looking for in our Director of Infrastructure and Facilities: Degree in a related field (e.g., Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Management).
