We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join us on our Rockingham site based in Corby,?reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, this is an exciting and varied role which is key to producing accurate management accounts, through analysing labour costs and key productivities, across both open and closed book customers. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, possess the desire to be involved in all tasks within the Finance Department, be able to communicate confidently and be able to challenge the status quo. A varied role providing support and insight to enhance site/customer reporting and understanding through the interpretation of information produced to identify opportunities and challenge the operations.? Hours: 37.5, Monday-Friday office hours. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly reports in order to invoice the customer. Assisting with Ledger Account reconciliations aligned to the Management Accounts. Supporting the Finance Manager to ensure revenues and costs are captured and allocated accurately. Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing journals, nominal ledger cross charges and period end reconciliations. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Reporting and monitoring of KPIs and non-financial information to support service delivery and contractual commitments. Assisting the Finance Manager with balance sheet preparation including robust reconciliations to support balances. Completion of monthly payroll reconciliations. Completion of regular large operational reconciliations. What will you bring? Passion for finance, studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualification Transport/Logistics/Warehousing Industry experience would be advantageous but not essential. Demonstrate drive, energy and a commitment to the continuous improvement of overall contract performance. Be proactive, inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams to drive performance. Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards. Must be flexible and respond positively and accurately to internal and external customer requests. Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels. Have excellent PC skills and be able to understand and harness IT and systems to benefit the operation. What do we offer?
