Location: North Walsham, Norfolk
Type: Permanent, Part time (15 hpw) waking Night Position
Pay: £12.61 per hour (£24,664 per annum [pro rata]) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Calling all night owls! We’re looking for a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Worker who won’t fall asleep on the job! Join us in this rewarding role to provide person-centred and strengths-based support to our customer (let's call them BK) and help them reach their full potential.
Typical Shift as our Support Worker:
* BK has complex needs, loves the outdoors, dogs, and going on trips to the Arcade. They enjoy dressing up and having their nails done.
* Help BK overcome barriers to lead a fulfilling life and reach their true potential, recognizing their strengths and abilities.
* Support BK using the Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion.
* Monitor BK’s mental and physical health to identify any signs of deterioration and manage risks to their wellbeing.

You have:
* Experience in a Complex Care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or are prepared to work towards it.
* Experience as a Support Worker, supporting people with complex needs or behaviors of distress.
* A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to BK's needs and circumstances.
* Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
* Ideally, familiarity with Makaton, but that’s not a deal breaker!
Job Details:
* You’ll work primarily in BK’s home to support them with independent living.
* You’ll join the team on a rota.
* Ability to use technology to create and update support plans, communicate with colleagues, and complete online learning.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
