Job summary Do you have experience of working in a busy recruitment, HR or customer service environment? An opportunity has become available for a Resourcing and Bank Assistant within the Resourcing team at the Queen Victoria Hospital. You will work as part of our team to ensure we provide a professional recruitment and on-boarding service. A typical day would include: managing multiple inboxes and responding to queries, completing ID checks in the office, answering telephone calls from managers and candidates, and managing the Trac recruitment system to process pre-employment checks efficiently. It is a busy office so it would suit someone who is able to manage their workload whilst delivering excellent customer service. Main duties of the job Support the Recruitment Team Leader in the day-to-day delivery of a comprehensive and responsive recruitment service within the Trust, including giving routine guidance on advertising, selection processes and adherence to the NHS Employment Check standards. Responsible for supporting Managers across the Trust in coordinating recruitment activities, providing an effective, efficient and customer focussed service, which meets the changing needs of the Trust's services and business areas. Support recruitment initiatives and on behalf of the Trust, liaise with appropriate external organisations, such as NHS Jobs, and other job advertising organisations, UK Borders and Immigration Authority, the DBS and internal stakeholders including Trust managers and operational HR teams. Support Bank when required, by acting as the first point of contact for temporary staffing queries, responding to pay queries, and processing bank and agency bookings whilst ensuring data is kept accurate within the relevant electronic systems.
