Main duties of the job
Tosucceed in this role, you will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual withgood communication skills.
Youwill support the Head of Financial Planning and Deputy CFO in the management ofthe monthly and annual planning and reporting process. You will build strong relationships with a widersystem finance team and NHS England to ensure overall planning and reportingprocess is aligned and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be accountable to the Head of Financial Planning and Reporting for the successful delivery of a number of work areas to include:
Support in the management of the monthly reporting process by ensuring that all reporting of the financial position of the ICB and system occurs in a timely manner and is supported with high quality information analysis.
Responsible for co-ordination of commentaries and production of relevant appendices that support the monthly finance papers produced for the Board to ensure informed decision making on service delivery.

Experience
Essential
13. Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
14. Further training or significant experience in financial management or supporting change management processes.
15. CCAB qualified accountant/ passed finalist.
16. Experience in communications and stakeholder management.
17. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Desirable
18. Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
19. Comprehensive knowledge of project management and/or financial information systems development.
20. Workforce development knowledge and experience.
21. A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it.
