Teaching Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving SEN school in Bridgend. This full-time position begins in January 2025 and offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with teachers to support children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions to help students achieve their full potential.
- Foster independence, confidence, and engagement in learning activities.
- Monitor and document progress, ensuring individual learning plans are followed.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Has experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Is adaptable and proactive, with a passion for supporting children's development.
- Possesses a valid DBS check or is willing to undergo the application process.
