We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join our supportive and friendly school in High Wycombe This full-time role is perfect for a passionate educator who is eager to inspire young learners and foster a love for learning in a dynamic and collaborative classroom environment. As a Year 2 teacher, you'll guide your pupils as they transition from the early stages of their primary education into more independent learners, ensuring they have a strong foundation for future learning. Responsibilities Delivering the Curriculum – Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons. Pupil Progress Assessment – Regularly assess pupils' progress and provide constructive feedback to both parents and students. Collaborative Teamwork – Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, supportive learning environment. Fostering a Positive Classroom Environment – Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where all pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed. Parent Engagement – Maintain open communication with parents and carers. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential for the role. Primary Teaching Experience – Ideally with KS1, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply. Classroom Management – Ability to foster a calm, respectful, and productive classroom atmosphere. DBS Enhanced Check – All applicants must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check.
