Inspection Supervisor | Sevington | JR2408_0010 Supervise our team of inspection operatives on a 4-on-4-off night shift schedule YOUR ROLE In our customer-focused environment, as the Inspection Supervisor, you'll drive the success of the night shift, leading your team to deliver seamless, efficient operations on a dynamic 4-on-4-off schedule. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Night shift operating a 4 on 4 off shift pattern Within this role you will be leading a team of 15 operatives, ensuring deployment is managed within the customers expectations. Manage sickness, absence and disciplinary matters inline with company policy. Drive a strong health and safety awareness within the teams. Ensure daily and weekly site KPIs are achieved within the Inspection Services. Responsible for ensuring all vehicles are inspected in line with operational timescales so that customer orders can be achieved. The safe operation of inspection activities across the site, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Planning, reviewing and communicating operational requirements and changes across departments, so that KPI's and customer service levels are met. Develop and implement new initiatives for continued operational and service improvements. Preparation of operational plans within budgets for inspection activities. Ensuring compliance of the operation to the Quality systems, industry standards and legal requirements. Deliver customer service excellence, productivity and cost effectiveness within Inspection Services teams to achieve contractual performance levels. Continuously seek to optimise the cost-effectiveness, productivity and customer service levels of the Inspection Services through planned and regular communication mechanisms and the proactive assessing of the operational requirements. Operational decisions involving the deployment of employees and resources in consultation with Business Stream Manage with an impact on warehouse costs, employee relations and customer service. Continually review all aspects of the operation so that methods, procedures and efficiency can be improved.
