Job Title: Operations SHE Manager - On Base
Location: Coningsby – on-site
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the SHE team across the on base environment within the UK, covering multiple platforms and lines of business. This involves working across the on Base Leadership team populations, influencing decision making, culture and collaborating on SHE strategy and goals.
* Providing SHE expertise for the leadership teams across the business and sites, managing a team of SHE professionals.
* Providing competent and comprehensive SHE advice, systems and assurance for the on base environment to achieve company strategic goals and support the deployment of the SHE strategy.
* Driving a range of complex programmes, planning, delivering and deploying appropriate SHE interventions in support of business aims.
Your skills and experiences:
* Significant post-qualification experience in applying SHE knowledge and processes in work-related situations.
* One or more of the following SHE qualifications: NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; Level 5 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health Practice; Level 6 NCRQ Diploma in Applied Health and Safety; NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management; Safety, Health and/or Environmental Honours Degree (Bachelors or Higher); or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
* Strong understanding of SHE requirements and best practices to influence key roles in the organisation.
* Experience in managing people and diverse SHE projects, delivering within budget and timelines.
* Chartered membership of an appropriate professional safety, health and/or environmental institution.
The SHE Operations team:
As an Operations SHE Manager, you will provide specialist SHE advice relevant to a specific area of responsibility. You will be part of a wider team of SHE professionals, receiving support and development to meet the challenges of the role. You will advise on safety, health, and environment to support strategic objectives and maintain ISO45001, ISO 14001, and ISO50001.
