About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Shaw Daniels Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work as an onsite technical engineer, providing technical support for end-user technology environments.
As an Onsite Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering onsite services to clients, including desktop computing and corporate IT services. You will work independently and remotely on a wide range of products, performing installations and troubleshooting in software or hardware environments.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable skills and knowledge in relevant technology areas, with certifications such as CompTIA A+/N+ and/or MCDST. They will also be able to follow documented procedures and respond to changes in procedures. In this role, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £28,500 - £30,500 per annum, plus a £400 monthly car allowance. You will also be eligible for security clearance and adhere to company policies. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver On-Site services for clients, providing technical support for the End User Technology environment involving desktop computing and corporate IT services.
* Perform installations and troubleshooting on a wide range of products in software or hardware environments.
* Follow documented procedures provided by either our client or Customer; respond to changes in procedures even in circumstances where documentation has not been updated.
* Actively contributing to management appraisals and training. Seeking opportunities to grow and develop skill sets in accordance with own personal ambitions and organisational need.
