Your normal working days will be Monday - Friday but there is an expectation to support at weekends and bank holidays if required. A typical day would be 9:30am - 5:00pm.

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be part of a small but fun and friendly team based at one of the National Trusts most unique properties, Kinver Edge & the Rock Houses. Welcoming visitors to this intriguing place, sharing how they can get the most out of their visit and what they can enjoy after their visit on the wider Edge.
It can be very busy but equally there may be quiet days so you'll need to be able to work well in both scenarios. The property is across 3 levels, including steep slopes and steps and the role involves accessing all levels. We're also a dog friendly property.
If you're keen to support the property grow its fundraising, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing
Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
You'll be responsible each morning for opening the property in preparation for visitors, including opening the rock houses, visitor reception, bookshop, getting out signage, checking presentation levels, setting up the till etc. At the end of the day, you'll be expected to close down all areas, clean the visitor facilities and cash up.
Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
