Job Opportunity: Mechanical Repairs Technicians (2 Positions Available)
Location: Titchfield
Contract Type: PAYE Contract, initially until December 2025, with potential for extension
Working Hours:
* Core Hours: 37 hours per week
o Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:15pm, Friday: 7:30am - 11:30am
Holiday: 33 days paid holiday
Pay Rates:
*
o First 12 Weeks
+ Basic: £16.28 per hour
+ Overtime: £24.41 per hour
+ Sundays: £32.55 per hour
o After 12 Weeks
+ Basic: £16.77 per hour
+ Overtime: £25.15 per hour
+ Sundays: £33.54 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Repairs and Testing: Perform disassembly, assembly, testing, and fault diagnosis on electrical, pump, and mechanical units.
* Efficiency: Improve turnaround times for critical civil and military contract units.
* Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safe working practices and site regulations.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and team members to enhance quality, reduce costs, and meet delivery targets.
* Adaptability: Demonstrate teamwork, independence, and flexibility in response to shifting demands.
Requirements
* Mechanical Aptitude: Solid background in mechanical systems and repairs.
* Industry Experience: Prior experience in aerospace or a similar technical/highly regulated industry.
* Engineering Drawings: Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
* Hand Tools: Practical hands-on experience with machining tools and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:

o BTEC Level 2/3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
o City and Guilds/National Certificate in engineering (preferred).
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
ITAR Compliance: Adherence to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is required.
