This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy talking therapies service and contribute to the provision of a stepped-care service for psychological problems.
The post is based at St Leonard's Hospital in Hoxton. Full-time staff are expected to work on-site two days per week and work remotely three days per week.
City and Hackney Talking Therapies is a well-established service with a commitment to quality and service innovation. You will be joining a team of 40 PWP's, Trainee and Senior PWP's and 40 High Intensity Therapists with ready access to specialist supervision. We also have good links with regional clinical/counselling psychology training courses and substantial in-service training programmes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for delivery of a range of psychological assessment and low-intensity interventions. These include: one to one protocol based treatments of common mental health problems, guided self-help, online CBT programs and psycho-educational group workshops.
We have a well-established long term conditions team of PWP and HI Therapists with opportunities for further training in this area, and a dedicated frontline staff pathway for frontline staff impacted by the current pandemic. Staff are actively encouraged to engage with outreach work within the community and with service-related research.
The service has a strong focus on staff wellbeing within the context of talking therapies service provision, with opportunities for continued professional development.
Candidates must have a PG Certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment for adults or equivalent. Applicants without this qualification will not be shortlisted.

* Educated or able to demonstrate experience to degree level
