Responsibilities will be to provide a range of administrative/secretarial support relevant to area, ensuring that urgent matters are actioned and escalated without delay. You will be required to manage diaries, calendar invites and where required email inboxes with the directorate. You will support, supervise and co-ordinate other members of the team as required to ensure the smooth running of the directorate. You will also have the opportunity to actively participate in the development of improvements for the service, incorporating new practices and ways of working. Although predominantly home working, you will be expected to work from our Basildon office when required. Main duties of the job The duties and responsibilities that you will be expected to undertake may include: Support in providing a timely and comprehensive administrative service to the Nursing & Quality Senior Teams, meeting deadlines set and producing work to a high standard Work in a supportive manner with other members of the Nursing & Quality Directorate to ensure the smooth running of the service; supporting administrative tasks on specific pieces of work and projects, ensuring appropriate administrative cover arrangements are in place Meeting Management: Take and transcribe formal minutes at meetings, maintaining electronic records. Project Support: Provide administrative support on specific workpieces and projects Information Management: Handle incoming and outgoing information requirements professionally, dealing with sensitive and confidential matters Responsible for decisions made during duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate Although no specific experience is required, it is desirable that you are educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (or experience level).
