We are seeking an Engineering Manager - Electrical Projects for a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead.

Job Overview
KBR is expanding its engineering management team in Leatherhead to support electrification projects, particularly in the Caspian region.
The candidate will report to the Director of Project Management for the region and will be responsible for the technical delivery of projects across pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design stages, with regular travel to the Caspian region.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing engineering teams in brownfield electrical infrastructure projects (132kV and below) in accordance with IEC standards, preferably in an oil & gas environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Design management: Ensure compliance with company policies, prepare resource and execution plans, monitor progress, and report changes to scope, cost, or schedule.
* Design basis: Prepare and maintain design basis documents, ensure regulatory compliance.
* Design Method: Monitor quality of specifications and engineering products, manage equipment lists, and mentor team members.
* Design Assurance: Implement quality assurance methods, oversee design integrity.
* Design Interfaces: Develop interfaces across multiple offices, partners, and third parties, and assist in procurement preparations.
