Regulatory Affairs Manager - 18 month FTC
Location - Gatwick (Hybrid)
Salary range £50,000 to £55,000 plus 17% Monthly Car allowance, bonus & excellent benefits inc pension/ 25 days holiday + additional 12 days flex days

Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Manager. This is an exciting role, where you will work closely with our well-known brands within our Nutrition Business. Proving regulatory expertise and sound judgement, based on professional knowledge and experience of food regulations. Ensuring that our products meet the national nutritional guidelines, relevant regulations, and food safety requirements. You will work with relevant markets ensuring regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials, labelling and any kind of product communication is managed.

A day in the life of a Regulatory Affairs Manager
You'll play a pivotal role in bringing our products to the market and supporting the marketing teams on exciting product launches. Ensuring all our products are compliant against our UK&I regulations. You'll strive to deliver towards Nestlé's overall progress in nutrition, health and wellness (NHW) priorities.
You'll also:
* Keep abreast of local and international (e.g., Codex) regulatory knowledge and share regulatory knowledge with RSA staff and various functions.
* Propose, implement & approve action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market. Provide a high standard of food regulatory expertise to relevant departments in SMA Nutrition in support of business objectives.
* Contribute as key member to local I&R projects. Be assigned as regulatory collaborator and/or leader in NPDI.
* Proactively help develop competitive marketing and sales materials and labels, drawing on relevant regulatory expertise and experience. In charge of providing regulatory approval to projects as required.
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you will have experience of with a breadth of Baby Milk and Baby food products regulatory experience. You'll be self-sufficient and results focused with great analytical skills. You'll have an excellent eye for detail and understand how your decisions impact the wider business strategy. You'll also have great communication skills that enable you to challenge and influence across all levels whilst being able to develop positive stakeholder relationships. Being proactive and challenging in order to arrive at a resolution is a must, as is having a real desire to get to the heart of issues that may arise. Coupled with your ability to be flexible when prioritising work in an environment that will often be ambiguous and sometimes pressured.
You'll also:
* Have knowledge in at least one of the UK regulatory related topics such as food safety, consumer information, nutrition & health, additives, or quality.
* Have experience in nutrition, science, raw material and finished products applied to regulatory environment.
