About The Role
We are recruiting a Technical Officer to support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance of building services and wider campus infrastructure. This is a permanent position based at both Singleton and Bay Campuses within the Estates Infrastructure Services Team, working across all University sites and occasionally at weekends.
The (Mechanical) Technical Officer will provide professional and technical knowledge and experience contributing to the successful delivery of the University’s estate and campus services, ensuring a well maintained and safe built environment for the University community.
Minimum Requirements
The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
