We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the ET&S portfolio team as a Project Manager - Test deployed into Test and Experimental Engineering (T&EE).

The T&EE business is at the heart of this ensuring we can deliver the future technologies. We are the heartbeat of the Civil business bringing new products to market, as well as playing a key role in supporting other areas of the business to keep the existing fleet flying. The role will allow you to play a pivotal role in introducing new test capability required to support the growth of our installed fleet.
Within T&EE you will be deployed to one or more key projects which are critical in delivering test capability across the network. You will be responsible for the planning, delegation, monitoring, and control of all aspects of the test workstreams, and the motivation of those involved, to achieve the project's objectives with the expected performance targets of time, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risks.
What you will be doing:
* Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for the defined package of work.
* Support the 3rd party MRO vendor to establish a robust set of specifications and requirements for their Test Bed solution.
* Act as a focal point and escalation route for all aspects related to the package of work.
* Responsible for the creation and management of an integrated set of plans/schedules.
* Identify, address and resolve differences between individuals and/or interest groups.
* Report and communicate performance against SQCDP KPI's and status to wider stakeholders.
* Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package(s) of work within the project.
* Actively manage risk and opportunities across the package of work.
* Work with 3rd party supplier(s) to coach and influence best practice process and approaches.
Who we're looking for:
* Qualified to degree level in Project/Programme management or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a variety of project roles of medium to high complexity with personal accountability for Quality, Time, Cost and Performance elements.
* Ideally has experience of complex construction or testbed construction or upgrade projects.
* Excellent communication, influencing, relationship management skills with focus on drawing value for the company.
* An ability to solve complex problems, demonstrating digital awareness and analytical capability.
* Comfortable working with ambiguity.
