The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a varying portfolio within the region of Ireland based in our Belfast office, reporting to the Head of Projects. This role will be responsible for directing and supervising their New Installation and Modernisation teams and ensuring jobs are managed in a safe, quality-driven, and cost-effective manner.
As a Project Manager, your day-to-day will include:
* Manage operational metrics in line with targets.
* Management and coordination of the New Installation and Modernisation Engineers, including carrying out monthly meetings, performance reviews, health and safety visits, etc.
* Ensuring all works follow the appropriate company working practices.
* Ensuring the materials supplied are in full compliance with regulatory codes and practices along with ensuring that these comply with any clients/consultants specification.
* Visiting the customer and discussing levels of works required, providing feedback and monitoring customer service levels of satisfaction.
* Ultimate ownership for all customer complaints, adhering to internal processes and ensuring issues are effectively resolved.
* Liaise and assist modernisation and new installation teams to ensure accurate, best-engineered materials are provided to ensure profitable returns on all works.
* Authorisation and management of engineer's time sheets, holidays, and night call rotas.
* Be a champion for continuous Customer Service and Health & Safety regulations to convey TK Elevator behaviour and commitments.
* Submit CPP's, Method Statements, Quality plans, and Programmes through to approval.
* Check key milestone dates for payment with credit control prior to releasing units for manufacture and handing units over to the customer.
* Submit variations in a timely manner and agree final accounts prior to closure.
* Carry out monthly financial reviews on all projects highlighting both positive and negative re-estimates when known.
* Ensure snag-free handovers are achieved and successful handover to Service.
* Complete and submit Analysis review on all projects over the current target efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Project Manager role managing a team.
* Experience working in an Operational role in an engineering/manufacturing or construction industry.
* Experience of a high-volume production environment.
* Customer relationship management skills and experience.
* Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to use your initiative and work well with others.
* Positive attitude and receptive to change.
* Extremely organised.
* Superior customer-care skills.
* The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development.
