Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the effective management of our financial resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and planning, with proven leadership capabilities. This role is crucial in guiding the organisation towards achieving its financial goals while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's objectives.
* Manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Oversee accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
* Monitor and control costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including financial accounting practices.
* Assume line management responsibility for the finance team and ensure that effective induction, objectives and appraisals take place.
* Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
* Implement an appropriate inventory system to control inventory and to provide accurate monthly cost of sales information.
* Establish and maintain relationships with private medical insurers, and any contracts with these insurance companies, identifying and solving any problems with service or individual patient queries, or overseeing the delegation of this.
* Negotiate the most advantageous terms with suppliers/providers/property/subcontractors to maximise profitability and cashflow and implement procurement processes.
* Assume responsibility for the insurance of the business including periodic reviews, claims, amendments to cover and renewals. Insurance policies to cover Medical Malpractice, Public Liability, Key Man, Directors, Buildings and Contents and other policies.

* Proven experience in financial management.
* Strong knowledge of financial services, planning, and accounting principles.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Proficient in cost control measures and financial analysis techniques.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
