Fleet Manager – Join Our Award-Winning Team at Hill Group Are you an experienced Fleet Manager looking to take the wheel of a dynamic and growing fleet? At Hill, we’re looking for a confident and proactive individual to manage our company vehicles, support our teams, and drive efficiency across our operations. About the Role As our Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our vehicle fleet – from procurement and compliance to insurance and employee support. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, policies are adhered to, and that all vehicles, whether company-owned, leased, or part of our salary sacrifice scheme, are fully compliant and efficiently managed. Key Responsibilities Fleet Operations Manage procurement and distribution of company and hired vehicles Liaise with employees and leasing providers to coordinate vehicle requirements Maintain accurate vehicle records including maintenance, returns, and fines Oversee EDrive Salary Sacrifice Scheme, ensuring payroll deductions and records are accurate Arrange signwriting and fitting of equipment for commercial vehicles Assist employees with servicing, repairs, and booking requirements Perform vehicle inspections and process fines or damage claims Maintain the Motor Insurers Database (MID) and oversee driving licence checks Compliance & Quality Ensure all vehicles meet health & safety standards and company policies Keep employee vehicle grades up to date and ensure all vehicle data is logged in ADP Maintain compliance for grey fleet and car allowance users with appropriate insurance Financial Oversight Authorise payments for vehicle repairs, van fittings, and services Liaise with insurers and solicitors to recover vehicle damage costs Manage reduction of car allowance based on vehicle age Notify payroll of vehicle-related charges or fines for employee deduction People Support Be a reliable point of contact for all staff regarding fleet queries Prepare welcome packs for new drivers and guide them through the process What You'll Bring Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent communication and relationship management High attention to detail and accuracy Confidence working with external suppliers and internal teams Solid IT skills, particularly in Excel and fleet management systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Why Work With Us?
